MY INTRODUCTORY POST

Hi my amazing hive friends
I know it took me a while to do this and I'm so excited doing it even though it's coming a bit late.

I'm super excited to be on a decentralize community like Hive where I'll be able to share my journeys, work, fun and achievements with my new friends.

My name is Eniola Adebayo and I'm a digital marketing specialist and a creative graphics designer. Eniola my first name is a gender neutral name from the Yoruba tribe of Western Africa and it means "Wealthy person" which I'm definitely attaining to be some day. Adebayo on the other is my last name which means "Royalty meets Joy".

Eniola is a 27 years old Nigerian, I was born and raised one of the most populous cities in West Africa Lagos. I'm the last born of the family I have 3 elder sisters and 2 elder brothers.

MY EDUCATION

My primary school education I can say is the most interesting part of my life for obvious reasons. It was fun and we really don't have to worry too much assignments because it was easier then. I was made the head prefect (I was in charge of coordinating other prefects and also representing the school in competitions the school. Shortly after basic school I wrote an entrance examination into Ransome Kuti Memorial Grammar School Mushin, Lagos. The school was named after the family of Chief Funmilayo Ransomw Kuti a Nigerian political campaigner, an educator and the mother of political activist and multi instrumentalist Fela Kuti who is also the pioneer of the African music genre Afrobeats.

Made quite a number of friends in my first year and I happened to be the assistant class rep till we had to relocate to Ogun State after my late dad retirement from service. He was a portal at the Yabatech Polytechnic, Yaba Lagos. In basic school have always had this interest for medical practice but it all changed in high school when I discovered the art and design side of me. I also wouldn't have fit into a science class because of my dislike for calculations and mathematics so I opted for the Art class instead in a new school, Itoki Community High School located in Ifo local government area of Ogun State.

The idea of changing of school wasn't really a fun thing for me cause I had a hard time blending in into a new system I just found myself. I was difficult at first until I met my friend Akande Wale who is now a renewable energy engineer. My intrigue for Arts for designs almost pushed me into studying a design course in tertiary institution but my dad was totally against it. I had no sure but to settle for Mass Communication at the Lagos State Polytechnic. During my stay on campus I was the graphics designer of our department magazine and also the Online editor for Lagos State Polytechnic Press Club.

CAREER

Started my career as digital marketing specialist during the mandatory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) at a digital marketing here in Lagos in 2020. I assisted with social media marketing trainings and was in charge of the company's website and social media pages.

During the pandemic I picked interest in graphics Design which I do as a side gig. Have been involved in several social media marketing campaigns for popular brands like brands TECNO, Oraimo, Vibra, Airtel and lot of other brands.

SKILLS

My skill includes online reputation management, Twitter marketing campaigns, Social media sponsored Ads, Email marketing, Google Ads and Graphics Design.

I have an intermediate knowledge in video editing, motion graphics, web development, UI/UX design all which are self thought via YouTube video tutorials, books and courses. I currently work as digital marketing strategist for Adav Trusted Limited.

INTEREST

I have a really wide interest which I'm willing to explore on this very amazing platform. Have been a huge fan of Marketing and would love to follow the lastest marketing trends. I'm also a passionate CODM gamer and would love to connect with other gamers on thid platform.

I have a keen interest for NFT arts/ street photography and would love connect with people in this community. Have been reading about NFT games like Splinterland and won't hesitate going into it when I'm done with my research about it.

HOW I DISCOVERED HIVE

The first time I heard about Hive was in 2016 which I joined with my old account @ennyholar but I lost the Private key and couldn't access the account since that time. I was introduced to hive by my very good friend @rufans. I look forward to learn, make friends and network in this community.
