That Little Milestone of Life

There was one time I had a little getaway with friends by our local beach. It was morning, a bit cloudy. I didn't planned to do anything really whilst them, having fun swimming by the coast.

But then they rented a boat, it looks so fun so of course, I wanted to try it too. I brought my phone with me after thinking about the last time I did kayaking, the regrets of not bringing a phone to document an achievement. Although I am not wearing swimsuit or any sort of safety gears, I braved myself just to document an exciting experience.

The water was really calm that time so I could see clearly what's underneath us. Though it's sad to say that even beyond 500 meters from the shore, I could not see any marine life exept perhaps, a cluster of sea urchin.

I know for sure that beneath us were just mud, a murky muddy seabed without life. Or maybe that's the reason why there aren't marine life on that sea. I haven't even sighted any tiny fishes that normally would've just swam by the rocky coast two barangays (syn. village or district) away from the location.

By the way, this human didn't have any work done because as much as I wanted to try to row the boat, I couldn't afford to splash myself with water for I'm on my denim pants and I have a phone in hand.

The glare of the sun would be unbelievably painful despite the slightly cloudy weather, so make sure to bring sunglasses at times like these.

And you know, have fun! Some might be afraid of the sea or the waves crashing or anything of that sort. But forget about your fears as long as you know you are safe. That's the essense of life anyway.
