Well, that's a tough question.
But for me, it's better to try and forget the pain it won't be easy though. Cause groaning over the pain will only make it hurt the more and get you angrier and upset which might leave a mark on your mental state.

I think I agree with you, but we must agree that the next thing that comes to our mind immediately after frustrations is anger and revenge, but to me, it's easier to just forget, but not too easy for everyone...
