Teens Auditoriums Stage

The Redeem Christians church of God is the second or third largest church in Africa by attendance with like 50,000 attendance and on land that spans over 2500 hectares. With many auditoriums aside from the main auditorium, the program I attended used the teen's auditorium which got these gigantic fans that amazed me. The Redeem church of God is just like a mini-state on its own.

The stage and the back drop for the program

The program I attended is called "zonal Congress" and it's the annual gathering of the student fellowship around a zone,a state in Nigeria. And my school is located in Ogun state, the state the highest location of learning institutes and so our zonal Congress is like the biggest in the whole of Nigeria, well other states do have there zonal Congress haven't attended them though.

Arival day (pictures of people in attendance)

So the program started on Thursday and with sports and dinner night on Saturday and ended on Sunday. But what students look forward to apart from the program in all is the dinner night, will get to that during this post.

So we left for camp (Redeem Church) on Thursday, around 11 in the morning, The journey is about 1 -2 hours trip depending on traffic but we go there like around some minutes to 1 in the afternoon. We played around till the program started around 4:30 pm later in the evening, and ended at midnight. Then we moved to our hostels to rest right there on camp.

On Friday we work up as early as 6 am took our bath and resumed to the auditorium for another blessed service which was nourishing to the soul. We had relationship talks, educational talks and the likes that will help students become successful and bring them closer to God. We had a series of breaks and later ended it also that day by 11 pm.

Then on Saturday, the day all students are looking forward to. On this day we have a sport in the morning and dinner at night so you should know how the youthful spirit will be that day. Yeah, and I got the opportunity to drive our fellowship bus,it is a Toyota Hiace.

The fellowship bus

I used it in conveying some of the students to an open field for the sport. And I must say I loved every seconds of driving it. So we played football but sadly🤧 our school lost at the semifinals. Then I drop them all back at the hostel to change and then proceed to the auditorium for service.

Well, we didn't have a long program that day, we ended it as early as 7 pm to go prepare for the dinner night. FYI I dint have a date 😅.

So for the dinner, I rocked a white turtle neck and navy blue pants. Well, I wasn't too sure what to wear so I just picked that, and am stil not sure why I was getting compliments on how nice I looked. But, the dinner is over now. The dinner was enjoyable with some snacks for starts and Chapman, later then we had some fried rice and jolly rice (one of the most famous Nigerian dish) and chicken.

Me at the dinner night

We had some games, and some other fun stuff, I wasn't too into the dinner cause I was with my guys having fun. So the dinner lasted till past 1 am. We had so much fun that we dint know time as passed. But truly it was a splendid day right from the beginning to the end.

Then Sunday, the program was kinda brief, to let the students get back to their various schools early, cause of how far some people came. After the service, we technical unit guys from various campuses have to pack the sound system back to the electronics house. Men, those sounds were damn heavy, I had body pains for days but at least I was glad i was able to help.

Trip back home

We got back to our school around 7 pm, I didn't bother eating so I slept off as soon I got to my hostel. Was so stressed out and tired from the moving of the sound systems and the trip. But all glory to God for the journey mercy and a successful program.

Thanks for reading through again my friends until next time 😁😁😁😁.
