Fulfilled v. Happy⁣⁣⁣

It’s an easy swap that makes a big difference. Often times being happy or living in a state of happiness feels like some ambiguous thing that we aren’t even sure how to attain.

We’re just kind out out here, trying to figure it out and labeling it with the word “happy” because that’s what we’ve been told to say or do.

But it feels weird, right? Kind of like we are doing it wrong or always trying to hit someone else’s definition of happy, meaning we are always running for something that isn’t ours. PASS.

What I’ve come to find is that fulfillment in my life is what I care for most and seek out above “happiness”. That being fulfilled feels far more tangible, do-able and realistic to me than slapping the word happy on something and calling it a day. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I know I feel fulfilled when: ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
• I help others recognize their potential or work through roadblocks⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• I take care of my body, whatever that may look like for the day ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
• I have had a well-rounded day and had time for things that matter most to me

It’s a shift that I’ve been working on, but one that has helped in the endless “pursuit of happiness” we all seem to be on. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Find your fulfillment and let it rest. ⁣⁣⁣

Happy Tuesday, friends. Wishing you a February full of fulfillment.
