The in between

We talk about flare ups and we talk about good days, but we don’t talk about the in between.

The in between where we are not at our worst, also not at our best.

The in between when we are able to start thinking about all the things we want and need to do, but are not well enough to do them.

The in between when we are tired of being out of commission but not well enough to get back into normal life.

The part that is lonely because you have been in a flare for so long you don’t want to tell anyone you’re still in it.

The part where you have exhausted your flare up resources but still need them.

The in between where you know that by the time you feel back to yourself, you only have a bit of time before the cycle starts over.
