I got the job! 9/30/2020

I am so happy! As of last night, I received an e-mail saying that Amazon is hiring me! I am so happy. It's a solid pay rate and right in time for the holidays.

Not going to lie, I got slightly disappointed when I discovered it was a seasonal position. I thought it was a possibility but I wasn't one hundred percent sure. But I'm definitely looking on the bright side! It was a mass hire event, perhaps they want to see which employees stick, ya know? Also if I work hard and perform well I could hopefully be hired on no matter the circumstances. My brother on law mentioned that he was hired at Target once for a seasonal position and ended up working there for 2.5 years, that surprisingly cheered me up. Worse case scenario I would not mind annually working there seasonally. I really wouldn't. We'll see though.

A job is a job!

I'm just going to make sure I am the ideal employee. I intend on taking this job very seriously.

It's a full 40 hour work week. Four ten hour days, I believe I picked my schedule during the application and I think I'm off on the weekends, which would be great. Tuesday to Friday or something. I hope to have weekends off. I don't have a car or anything but I'm going to make sure I can see my son as often as possible. I'll give my ex plenty of gas money.

My life is going to be work, my son, and hustling with crypto and cards. I want to set an example and try to create a nice life for my son and I.

I'm so happy! I can save money, and even invest in various crypto projects and coins. I might even try and buy some silver or something. But one step at a time.

I am so excited to be working! My first day is October 5th!

I sold a card on ebay, which felt great too.

Other bad news that surprisingly bummed me out was the Titans and the covid crap. UGH. I don't wanna get into it now but man that stinks. I will create a post in the coming days, maybe in the Titans vs Steelers preview.

The Presidential debates were comedy GOLD. I figured out my polling place last night and I'm excited to vote for the president for the first time. Unfortunately I didn't vote the first year I was eligible four years ago. I intend on voting more often!

Otherwise nothing new really I can think of at the moment. I forgot to get a full 5,000 steps, at least I think. Oh well.
