Hello! I think reputation is something we should value not only here at Hive but in our life in general. At least that's what I was taught and that's what I try to do wherever I go. Take care of it.
Some things can't be tolerated. Plagiarism, content farming, and so on.
However there are always some grey areas, as in life not everything is black and white, and that is where many doubts arise. What are those rules that are often not explicit somewhere? I've been with Hive for less than a year but after a bit of a slow start, mostly my fault, I think I've done well so far but I still have a lot to learn.
But even more so, as we advance and gain reputation, so does our responsibility to be fair and deserving of reward. Also to set an example to newcomers we meet from other platforms. And at this point what you have written makes a lot of sense to me. Because it's not just about earning a reputation, which after all is a number, it's about that number reflecting our behavior and value to Hive.
I'm sorry you had some health issues but glad to know that you already recovered, and congrats on meeting your Love, my best wishes to you.
