Always look on the bright side of life

in OCD4 years ago

Hello, hello, hello! Long time since I have done a post on here... I have (had?) started to distance myself from this place as there is just to much negativity.

Loads of the negativity is around the coronavirus and how the world (and those evil governments) is out to get us. According to some people pretty much the whole world is conspiracy to get us and using this pandemic as a 'cover' - take a step back for a minute and you might realise how mad that sounds!!! And I still dont know what Bill Gates has to do with it all? I think most people just want it over and to get back to normal.

There is alot to be thankful about. The work on a vaccine is going faster than the majority of predictions. Infections are under control in some places which were once ravaged by the virus. Yes most of us cant travel internationally, but what a great time to see your own back yard 😃.

Come on everyone lets be more positive! I fear Hive is heading to the land of 'crackpots and conspiracy theorists'. I am going to go through and unfollow and 'negative nancies' and look for those who are positive in a hope to rejuvenate my interest in this place.

As always any suggestions for people to follow are welcome 😗

Hello, I may be a little bit unusual, but I am very positive. If you are looking for positive places to visit may I suggest a few (I only have fun here): @shaka has a great community going called #LMAC. Every week people from all over the world try their hand at making a collage out of a photo. It's great fun and i"m addicted. Then, there is a six-year old child, @steemean, who has a lovely blog (his father helps him) and makes lego constructions. He also runs the Gaugan contest in which people try their hand at making pictures with artificial intelligence. Also, most days you can find an interesting article on STEMsocial. Mostly science, and I don't agree with everything I read, but some of the stuff is brilliant. Also, have a look at blogs by @vieanna. And then there's @katerinaramm, @borjan, @ruth-girl...heavens. So many nice people I can't mention them all. I hope you stick around and 'meet' some of these great bloggers.

Thanks a lot my "old friend" . 😊
I'm proud you mention my work as positive.
Cheers

I love your blog. Always a peaceful place to visit. An oasis of calm :)
