RE: Is steem now investible?

in OCD5 years ago

I think the fundamentals for upside yes it is investable but when I look at exchanges order books the number of small sellers and price points don't make it attractive for a big investor to want to buy or sell a 50k or 100k buy or sell order would result in so much slippage because there's just not much liquidity at certain price points.

I'd say capital in this space doesn't look at the product only how they can turn quick profits

As for long term investors like institutions, they're still making far too much money with stocks continuing to move to ATH. The stock market continues to grab as much of the fresh money being printed I mean Boeing is now 50x more than its declared earnings, its insanity but it keeps going so why would capital go into crypto?

It would first go into bonds and precious metals before crypto

The fact that projects are surviving with so few users, investment and interest show there is something here and those that continue will reap the benefits of the reversal its all about outlasting the rest at this point.

SO yes I think STEEM is worth adding to your portfolio, it's my second biggest holding after BTC.

Long term investors is what we want. Obviously, with the chance of bigs gains at such a low price we will see crypto-traders looking for short term gains. Meanwhile, blockchain is gaining more traction and attention, so maybe time is all we need.

steem is by far my biggest holding. lol Im not very diverse....
