Welcome. I am new also, and have yet to write my formal introductory post. It's nice to see another person with an IT background here. There is a learning curve, but it's an interesting ecosystem with many associated projects, I am learning. One thing that baffles me is the economics of the hive. I wonder if many people, even those who have been around a while, understand it. Where does the money/value come from? It seems to me that, currently, people have to literally bring it in at some point. I think for the ecosystem to be self-sustaining, it needs to create value in some way. I am not an economist, but I am a practical thinker. Maybe I just don't understand the whole thing yet, though. I am only two seconds old in terms of the hive although I have done a lot of reading.

I feel like more projects that generate value and help ease the on boarding process will make hive even cooler!
