MY INTRODUCTION TO THE HIVE COMMUNITY [ENG-ESP]

Saludos a la gran comunidad de Hive, mi nombre es Carla Ruz e ingreso hoy para formar parte de ustedes... En cuanto a mí, puedo contarles que tengo 17 años y vivo en Mérida-Venezuela. Soy universitaria, perteneciente a la Universidad Nacional del Turismo, Núcleo Hotel Escuela, cursando allí la carrera de Hotelería y Servicios para la Hospitalidad, me gradué de bachiller tan solo el año pasado, y, acabo de culminar el primer semestre de está formación profesional. Soy hija única, vivo acompañada de mi mamá, mi abuelo y dos tíos con los que, no comparto mucho la verdad.

Greetings to the great community of Hive, my name is Carla Ruz and I am joining today to be part of you.... As for me, I can tell you that I am 17 years old and I live in Merida-Venezuela. I am a university student, belonging to the Universidad Nacional del Turismo, Núcleo Hotel Escuela, studying there the career of Hotel and Hospitality Services, I graduated from high school just last year, and I have just completed the first semester of this professional training. I am an only child, I live with my mother, my grandfather and two uncles with whom I don't really share much.

De pequeña: cómo todo niño, en algún momento somos hiperactivos y malcriados, nos gusta jugar, a las niñas más con muñecas que con carros, y a los varones con monstruos, dinosaurios y otros, en mi caso, nunca fui buena amante de las Barbies, a pesar de tener varias e incluso una piscina para ellas, cuando armaba todo, ya no quería jugar.

As a child: like every child, at some point we are hyperactive and spoiled, we like to play, girls more with dolls than with cars, and boys with monsters, dinosaurs and others, in my case, I was never a good lover of Barbies, despite having several and even a pool for them, when I put everything together, I no longer wanted to play.

Siempre he compartido con mi prima Daniela, la cual para mí es como una hermana, así que gran mayoría de tiempo jugaba con ella. Juntas fuimos a Caracas, en donde ambas tenemos familia, allí fui la primera vez a la playa que bueno, a ser sincera me gustaría volver a ir.
Cuando estaba en segundo grado si mal no recuerdo, mi mamá hizo que ingresará a una academia de canto en la cual no estuve mucho tiempo, puesto que, no rendía debido a que no me gustaba.

En cuarto grado, comencé un curso de repostería en el que aprendí a hacer tortas, cupcakes y pasapalos, gracias a este, descubrí que me apasiona este mundo.
Al salir de 6to grado, todo cambió al separarme de mis amigos de la escuela para conocer nuevas personas en el liceo al que estaba llegando, en el que, fueron 5 años de buenos y malos momentos, experiencias como todo.

I have always shared with my cousin Daniela, who for me is like a sister, so most of the time I played with her. Together we went to Caracas, where we both have family, there I went the first time to the beach, which well, to be honest I would like to go again.

When I was in second grade, if I remember correctly, my mother made me enter a singing academy in which I didn't stay long, since I didn't perform because I didn't like it.
In fourth grade, I started a baking course in which I learned to make cakes, cupcakes and pastries, thanks to this, I discovered that I am passionate about this world.

When I left 6th grade, everything changed when I separated from my school friends to meet new people in the high school where I was arriving, in which, there were 5 years of good and bad moments, experiences like everything.

Al salir de bachillerato: como gran mayoría de los adolescentes, no sabía qué hacer en ese momento, estaba esperando los resultados de la universidad a la que siempre había querido ingresar y que efectivamente me aceptaron, durante los meses que estuve viendo clase virtual, al inicio, no hacía mucho más que tareas, sin embargo, en este momento, comencé clases de salsa y bachata con Daniela, en la academia A. L Estudio de Baile, en la que ambas aprendimos mucho y fue allí en donde el baile se convirtió en un hobbie para mí, una manera de soltar todo y olvidar el mundo un rato.

Creo que noviembre fue mi mejor mes, a pesar de que en ese mes dejé la academia de baile, fue el mes en el que conseguí trabajo y eso le dio un giro a mi vida.

When I got out of high school: like most teenagers, I did not know what to do at that time, I was waiting for the results of the university I had always wanted to enter and that indeed I was accepted, during the months I was watching virtual class, at the beginning, I did not do much more than homework, however, at this time, I started salsa and bachata classes with Daniela, in the academy A. L Estudio de Baile, where we both learned a lot and it was there where dancing became a hobby for me, a way to let go of everything and forget the world for a while.

I think November was my best month, even though in that month I left the dance academy, it was the month I got a job and that turned my life around.

Siempre es importante rodearse de personas nuevas y de gente que te ayude a superarte. En mi primer trabajo conocí gente increíble, fue una gran experiencia compartir con ellos, tal vez no todos tengan la misma suerte de tener un buen ambiente laboral, pero yo si lo tuve en ese momento y estoy segura de que lo disfrute al máximo. En este sitio estuve trabajando casi 5 meses, conocí también a mi actual novio, tuve buenos jefes y excelentes compañeras.

It is always important to surround yourself with new people and people who help you to improve yourself. In my first job I met amazing people, it was a great experience to share with them, maybe not everyone has the same luck to have a good work environment, but I did at that time and I'm sure I enjoyed it to the fullest. In this place I was working for almost 5 months, I also met my current boyfriend, I had good bosses and excellent coworkers.

Actualmente: Seguidamente, comencé a ver clases presenciales, fue un semestre lleno de estrés, llantos, risas y aprendizajes, sé que, si en algún momento dudé de la carrera que escogí, me equivoqué, me encanta este mundo y todo lo que desborda de él, el alojamiento, el servicio, la cocina, el área gerencial, la recepción, etc. Estoy feliz de estar en dónde estoy ahora, y espero seguir avanzando.

Si bueno, está soy yo. Generalmente no tengo mucho tiempo libre, pero cuando lo tengo me gusta compartir con mis seres queridos, me gusta escuchar música de todo tipo, poco veo televisión, pero si me gusta leer libros en Wattpad, así como también hacer tortas cuando se puede. Espero poder escribir sobre temas a los que les saquen provecho o al menos, se entretengan un rato.

Nowadays: Followed, I started to see face-to-face classes, it was a semester full of stress, crying, laughing and learning, I know that, if at some point I doubted the career I chose, I was wrong, I love this world and everything that overflows from it, accommodation, service, kitchen, management area, reception, etc. I am happy to be where I am now, and I hope to keep moving forward.

Yes well, this is me. I usually don't have much free time, but when I do I like to share with my loved ones, I like to listen to music of all kinds, I rarely watch TV, but I do like to read books on Wattpad, as well as bake cakes when I can. I hope to be able to write about topics that you can enjoy or at least be entertained for a while.
