Introduction post to @OCD @Camerafanatic

Wow my first post on Hive, high five to my friends who made this possible, without further ado let me quickly introduce myself to my OCD family. Read through to know some fun facts about me.
MEET AND GREET
Greetings to my esteemed hive family, my name is Dominic Egbo aka Insatiable. I know you must be wondering how that nick name came about,I will be unveiling the idea behind that name as I pour out my heart. I’m the third child in a family of Six ( five males and a female).

I love my family a lot because we share a lot in common. My friends and families has really helped in shaping my perspective toward life and I love them for that. While growing up in the streets, I saw myself as a disciplined young boy who was loved by many and well respected among my peers because of my protective nature. I always protected my loved ones who couldn’t stand up for themselves, I guess I was a fighter lol . Growing up as a teenager, I had a dream of becoming a soldier to defend the territorial integrity of my nation but my parents and some of my siblings never supported this dream. I made several attempts to join the Army but was to no avail, I guess that was how my creator and the universe wanted it.

I later developed passion for visual storytelling, I saw myself becoming a camera fanatic,I was deeply obsessed with anything that has to do with capturing moments and telling stories visually.

I sourced for materials and masterclasses on the field of filmmaking and also watched a ton of videos on YouTube to help hone my craft. I never let a day pass by without learning something on camera works, cinematography and developing a visual style. I have learnt a lot in my 22 years one of which is self investment and having love and passion for what i do. I have always wanted to have my own production and equipment rental company and I’m currently working towards achieving this goal. I have made my first ever short film which I will be releasing on my YouTube channel on 30th of September, check the link on my bio.

I currently own a filmmaking brand called insatiable films. The name insatiable was derived out of my insatiable hunger for perfection of my craft. If there’s one thing I would do before I die, it would be to leave the imprints of my outstanding works in the face of the world.

One thing I set out to achieve this year was getting myself a Sony a7siii camera and I believe that I am at the verge of getting it.

One thing I learnt this year is making daily affirmations and speaking whatever I desire into existence and it has been working for me. My daily mantra has always been “I can do it, I’m a conqueror”.               EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND 

I attended my nursery and primary school at st. Theresa’s school in Ebonyi state, Nigeria. I then went over and attended my secondary school at Twelve Apostles college and Ebsu staff secondary school respectively. I was a good student then but the case seems to be reversed now, lol. I’m currently studying my dream course Theatre and film studies at the prestigious university of Nigeria Nsukka, so glad to be in my final year.

I also have a dream of furthering my education in film in the New York film academy. I love being around passionate and hard working people. In as much as I have a good side of me I also have the bad side because I’m human. I’m currently Working on becoming a better version of myself, I am not where I want to be in life yet but I’m really thankful for the small wins and I keep learning everyday.                           HOBBIES 

My hobbies include listening to music, watching films, observing people, cooking. I love making new friends but I’m more of an introvert. I love discussing films,my love for filmmaking supersedes all other hobbies, I love traveling also. One city I have always wanted to travel to is England. I have heard a lot about London and would love to share my experience on visiting there someday.

      HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT HIVE

I got to know about this great platform through my friends @miles101 @sonofremi @kingkenny44 @loverboy10. I really appreciate their efforts in showing me how to navigate through the interface as it still seems a bit unfamiliar to me.

                            CONCLUSION
