My name is Abukari Einus, and I am a Fullstack Engineer based in Tamale, Ghana. Since I was in primary school, I've had a fascination for learning about the world of technology. I still recall how I initially felt when I learned about video games at my dad’s café.
I made the decision to start taking things seriously when I graduated from high school in 2018 and joined IPMC to do a software engineering course before enrolling in college. My first introduction to a programming language was C++, and I struggled to understand its foundations for weeks. I got introduced to HTML and CSS after creating a few terminal applications and after deciding I wanted to work on something more graphical and user-friendly. The following weeks were spent learning a lot and developing side ventures. I was able to develop frontend websites that were fully responsive after a month.
After a few months at IPMC, I made the decision to enroll in a college course in information technology. I spent my first year learning the fundamentals of IT, and during my second year, I helped initiate a tech hub with a few friends that was intended to use IT to solve complex problems in the Northern region of Ghana. I learned a lot about teamwork and gained some technical skills while I was at the hub working with the web development team.
After completing my undergraduate studies, I began my national service at University for Development Studies, where I built and maintained the institution's online application. I gained a lot of knowledge about Linux servers and how to set them up as well.
I also joined a health technology startup that aims to transform the way the world provides healthcare.
It’s been a long way coming, I am keen to learn more about The Hive community and its projects, as well as the technical aspects of building dApps on the blockchain. I believe that being part of this community will enable me to gain a deeper understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi), which will be valuable for me as a developer. I am excited to learn from the experts in The Hive community, contribute to its growth and success, and collaborate with others to build innovative and impactful dApps.
Finally, I want to express my gratitude to @abdul01 for introducing me to the hive community.
Thank you bro for joining. Your skill will do much for us on this chain. We expect more developers as we would like more dApps and other apps to make our stay here fantastic. Have a wonderful stay.
