It’s winter down here or rather what we call “harmattan”, cold dusty weather, that is usually harsh to the body both extremely cold and extremely hot conditions. It usually affects me that my lips get dry and start breaking, my eyes get watery when I stay out for too long, feeling cold and feverish and not talking about the mood swings that come with it. Well for some people, they prefer the harmattan weather to the rainy weather for some different reasons they have, but for me, I prefer to be in between… LOL

As usual, woke up cold, shivering, pale, and all down with body pain because I slept on a hard wooden stage that is used for role-playing. Feeling lazy and tired, laid there covering up for 10 extra minutes to regain me before I stood up, say my usual morning prayers and some morning chores but still went back to get a little nap because the weather was making me lazy, unlike any other day.

After I started functioning fully, I did a small play around on a guitar to test my lazy skills but I just played it because I feel along the line I will get to perfect the hunted skill... LOL! My love for guitar started when I watched the movie Desperado acted by Antonio Banderas, the way he handles it made me love it but I didn’t get the chance to learn it but seeing someone plays it gives me the same cool vibe I want.

Around late noon, decided to get some snacks because I found myself craving for some junk, suddenly I came across a fine polo shirt in a boutique then decided to check it out. Checking out, I found out that the statement of not judging something with the outside look was true, the shirt had too many flaws, first, it was too small for me, and secondly, the designs were off.
The salesgirl was trying to convince me that the shirt was okay and nothing was wrong with it. I had let her know that there’s a saying that goes "customers are always right” which means you just have to please your customers at all-time even if they’re the wrong coz they’ve patronizing you. But also that doesn’t mean that you won’t stand on your protocols as an entrepreneur, an owner of a small retail shop, or a staff in an organization or a company that is being governed by certain rules and regulations that entails running the business.

I had to search for other cool ones in the shop, of which I saw but the prices were so high that I had to start pricing them to fit my budget because the economy isn’t friendly and because it’s Christmas/festive period things automatically high, always double the original price of goods and services. First of all, the price of a shirt is usually five thousand Naira (5,000) now she’s saying it's eight thousand Naira (8,000) and jeans of four thousand five hundred Naira (4,500) now goes for ten thousand (10,000).

Hearing all these, I didn’t know where to start from because they were way above my budget and I just had to minimize the cost by just going for shirts alone after really pricing it down to fit my budget. The lady kept on saying I price like a woman because she couldn’t believe I go head to head battle of prices with her and come out successful. And guess what? I got two shirts for 9,000 Naira when she was saying one for just 8,000 LOL!

The shirt quality is smooth and warm and the colors are nice too, very calm, and it was a perfect fit for me. Today wasn’t all bad, aside from the weather I got to buy two new shirts though I wanted new jeans too and that’s thanks to Hive for the funds.

Yea,I really admire your shirt bro...cool colour, simple design, but the prize...hhmmm. I know you like good stuffs,respect...
Lol! I know right, the color and design really caught my attention. Thanks mate!
I get affected too by the harmattan, so I hardly step out of the house, although am an indoor person but now I don't even think of staying outside for too long.
Nice T-shirt, I need to get some like yours soon.
Thanks bro!
