I'm getting pretty good at this. Oh yeah, by this I mean posting about Street art.
It's not only about posting Street art, the real work behind these posts lies in finding it across the Mexican Street Jungles which, believe, it's not easy, at all.
I'm getting good at this because this is not my first rodeo regarding Graffiti, in fact, at the bottom of this post I included a link to all the galleries I've posted on Hive in the past 4 years; all of them are 20+ pics at least, but most of them are around 40-50 images.
This time I went around San Pedro Cholula, a little town right outside the famous city of Puebla.
Hunting for Street Art around my town is getting harder, even with the bicycle because I'm pretty much eating up all the pics and, despite posting 50+ pic galleries, I think I'm running out of source material.
Anyway, here's my latest gallery, I hope you like it Hivemigos (Get it? Hive + amigos = Hivemigos :D )
Which one do you like the most? Do you enjoy these galleries or would you make them shorter (or perhaps longer?) Would you like me to include texts below every picture describing the colors or the surroundings? How would you make these comps better?
Try to hunt some of these artists down. Hand them a Hive account.
Been trying to contact those who leave an IG account as signature, some have replied, out of those most are more into the street life, not interested in the online one despite the crypto factor, but I'm getting there. Hopefully after I show them the comps they'll give it a try :D
There's a long history in some of those images. They're not copying what's engraved on ancient stone work. It's a continuation. It would have been nice to know more about the people who left their mark on this world, hundreds and sometimes thousands of years ago. A blockchain today and stone work from the past have a lot in common. The more modern elements derived from today are worth preserving somehow as well. It doesn't have to be about money and becoming internet famous.
A very good idea, I hope that he does
Always so colorful and creative, I don't think I can pick a favorite, they all look great!
I always include My favorite as thumbnail but yeah, most of them are amazing!
They are all amazing, I love art and wish to know the creative minds that painted them. Some of the artist forget to write their signature on their art piece. These are really great and am looking forward to seeing more and viewing the previous ones.
Wow, that's great
Wow! So many great designs to look out for. Don't even know the one to choose as the best.
Hi @anomadsoul. What a wonderful collection. I'm wondering how many Kms or miles you have travelled collecting these and all the previous ones in your collections, it would make a great map. I really love the artisian lady and Ganesh.
Where we lived previously there were some great wall Graffiti artworks, they made the area very colourful and added to the quirky atmosphere of the neighbourhood.
😊
That´s a big one indeed! Me gusta, Hivemigo! :)
Highly creative street art. It's also technically complex. Yet you won't see this type of art at the fancy museums in Europe and North America. It hasn't been approved by the high-brow intelligentsia and likely never will.
This is spectacular, I love it! I think that a whole graffitti community could be founded, it seems like you live in a very productive place where there is so much street art
I'm loving the smoking skull towards the top of the list, that's some high quality.
Beautiful art I really like it
I am also an art student. amazing collection very attractive . 👍
Good of you to document another massive collection of art from the streets. These are some awesome, awe-inspiring works. Wow. Thank you.
Hivemigos, love it XD
So what you're saying is you're going to have to start travelling around again soon to find more street art? :)
