Hey everybody! This is a macro photo of my work today. A fly with metallic green eyes. If you ask which species this fly is, I only know that this fly is often called a march fly.
I will not write the scientific name in this post, because you can search it on the internet, and also I am not an entomologist.
When I capture the pictures, this fly is quite calm, as if I am not the enemy. Therefore, I can shoot his eyes clearly and I get some nice pictures.
I found this fly near the well behind my house. The wind was bothering me a little when aiming the camera, I had to find a used cardboard as a barrier against the wind. Sometimes, you have to twist your mind so that your desire is achieved.
