Based on your open letter alone, you were SO CLOSE to getting a fat ass delegation like the Sun sympathetic @justyy... but then you had to add the post script.
How dare you blaspheme the mighty honey badger! Consider yourself lucky that honey badger don't care.
If my letter didn't work, I wonder what justyy had to commit to for his delegation?

Thanks for the write up on blockchain standards and decentralization. I know much more now than I did, after reading that. I like the accompanying story of the lake going along with the photos as well. A nice touch!
Your letter is pretty wild. I was kind of excited at the original news too, but not to that extent, lol. I suspect your effervescence in the letter is actually sarcasm surrounding a teeny bit of truth at the center.
A great meme too!
Thanks!
What happened is really complicated. The solution is really complicated too. Thanks. I'm trying to win his heart with flattery because nastiness didn't work. People are losing focus on the struggle. I actually don't like the honeybadger analogy that much,m but it does explain some of what is happening and it describes some members of the community for sure.
Your post was mentioned in the Steem Hit Parade in the following category:Congratulations @abitcoinskeptic!
Anyway, it still demonstrates a single point of failure in DPoS networks facing trading platforms holding large amounts of tokens. It remains to be seen how the community will react with this turn by force.
I'm confused about what represents a single point of failure? Taking advantage of the cybil attack?
It's a mistake to think that we can increase this above 50% without ending up some other imbalance. 50% is the hardest to attack in either direction (stop something bad/undesired or prevent something good/desired)
Despite all this, I think our community is slowly starting to recover its historical validators and has managed to get rid of the one that was set up by Justin Sun. However, the latter has not said his last word! Case to follow.
We definitely need to pay attention to this. It's not worth giving up without a fight. I hope he comes to realize that by cooperating with the majority we can have a win-win. I don't see a case where he wins and we lose, and the chain survives and thrives.
