“Reze: Cuando Hasta los Demonios Aprenden a Amar(ESP-ENG).

Hola, ¿cómo están, amigos de esta gran comunidad de talentosos artistas de este maravilloso ecosistema de Hive?
‎Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un dibujo que realicé ayer y al que terminé de darle los últimos detalles el día de hoy. Se trata de un personaje de una de las mejores películas de anime estrenadas este año. Y no, no hablo de Demon Slayer, sino de Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc.

‎Vi esta película hace una semana, y sinceramente, me quedé sin palabras para describir la experiencia. Desde su primera temporada, Chainsaw Man se ha convertido en uno de mis animes favoritos, no solo por su increíble animación, sino por su historia tan directa, intensa y llena de significado. Es un anime que no gira en torno a los valores tradicionales de heroísmo o compañerismo que vemos en muchas otras series, sino que nos muestra una trama cruda, humana y muy entretenida. Además, cuenta con personajes profundos y únicos, y un protagonista que no busca salvar al mundo, sino sobrevivir, disfrutar la vida y perseguir lo que él considera importante, siempre con su característico humor y forma tan peculiar de ver el mundo.

‎Para esta ocasión, decidí dibujar a Reze, un personaje que, aunque tuvo poco tiempo en pantalla, dejó una huella enorme. Reze es, para mí, uno de los mayores misterios de la historia: una joven dulce y encantadora que logra despertar sentimientos reales en Denji, el protagonista, pero que a la vez esconde un pasado lleno de sombras. A pesar de todo lo que ocurrió, creo que ella sí llegó a amarlo sinceramente, aunque el destino no les permitió un final feliz.

‎Este dibujo lo realicé completamente a color, con el objetivo de resaltar su hermosa mirada, esa que transmite paz, dulzura y algo de nostalgia. Hay una mezcla de inocencia y tristeza en sus ojos que me pareció un desafío capturar. Utilicé marcadores acrílicos de la marca Wincolor, junto con tonos morados para recrear su cabello, y una combinación de verde claro y verde oscuro para dar vida a su mirada tan característica.

‎Fue un proceso muy bonito, y aunque me llevó tiempo lograr los tonos que quería, el resultado final me dejó bastante satisfecho. Creo que cada trazo me ayudó a conectar un poco más con lo que este personaje representa: la dualidad entre la ternura y la tragedia.

‎Today I want to share with you a drawing I recently finished — I started it yesterday and completed the final details earlier today. It’s a drawing of a character from one of the best anime movies released this year. And no, I’m not talking about Demon Slayer, but about Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc.

‎I watched this movie about a week ago, and honestly, I was left speechless by the experience. Since its very first season, Chainsaw Man has become one of my favorite anime series. I love its story — not overly complicated, yet full of meaning and depth. It doesn’t focus on traditional themes like heroism or teamwork, but rather on a raw, human narrative that feels real and unpredictable. The characters are unique and complex, and the protagonist, Denji, stands out because he doesn’t seek to save the world or always do what’s right — he simply wants to live, enjoy life, and chase what truly matters to him, all with his distinct humor and chaotic charm.

‎This time, I decided to draw Reze, a character who, despite her short appearance, left a lasting impression. For me, Reze is a complete mystery — a sweet and charming girl who awakens real emotions in Denji but hides a dark and painful past. Even so, I truly believe she did love him in her own way, even if fate didn’t allow them a happy ending.

‎I chose to bring her to life in color to highlight her beautiful eyes, which reflect both peace and melancholy. There’s something about her expression — that mix of innocence and sadness — that makes her unforgettable. I used Wincolor acrylic markers and added some purple tones to match her hair color, as well as a blend of dark and light greens to recreate that soft, innocent look in her eyes.

‎It was a really enjoyable process, even though finding the right shades took some time. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Every stroke helped me connect more deeply with the emotions Reze represents — that balance between tenderness and tragedy.
