Creating artwork is only one part of the process. Once the artwork is complete, it needs to be photographed or scanned, edited, and formatted for print or digital platforms. Publishers may also require multiple rounds of revisions and feedback before the artwork is ready for publication. This entire process can take weeks or even months to complete, depending on the complexity of the artwork and the publishing timeline. Therefore, publishing artwork takes a lot more time and effort than just creating it.

In order to avoid adding excessive details, I must consciously halt my painting process. Left unchecked, I tend to continue painting far beyond completion.

I refrain from forcing myself to paint when I'm lacking inspiration or motivation. I never push myself to create art without feeling the urge to do so.
