Drawing of a beautiful lady

Hi great hivians!!
Today I bring to us an art piece I just made recently. Was contacted by someone so it would be made for his fiancee.
The issue here was that he kept advocating the fact that he needed a very high quality job, which I kept assuring him that that was my plan too.
Work started smoothly, but on getting to the decision of if I should leave the background white or shaded, I got stocked.
Now when shading a background, you can ruin your piece if you don't do it rightly. So I finally settled for shading of the background. And glory to God it came out well.
