Trippy Thursday - Thanksgiving Dinner

The family said bring your own item to the Thanksgiving dinner...Here is another ballpoint pen drawing for this #trippythursday

Unfortunately one of them was a vegan.

Now they have contrived a strange bulbous mess that is supposed to look like a turkey made out of quinoa, soy and chickpeas.

Can't add too much salt to it either, or spices for that matter for fear of them being tainted by lead and artificial colors...

To make matters worse they had to ferment the turkey shape in place for a couple weeks in the fridge so it could solidify.

During that time though a strange fungus infested it and now it has mutated into the ultimate turkey.

One of the other family members decided to deep fry a turkey just in case, but it ended up creating an atomic explosion in his back yard, taking the garage with it.

So now everyone is stuck looking at the vegan's glorious wonderous creation.

The first bite that was taken induced mass hallucinations. It seems one of the fungi that invaded the beyond meat creation was ergot. Now everyone is hallucinating strange ideas about eating meat and imagining flavor in this abomination of a Thanksgiving turkey.
