My new painting "Morning on the bridge"

Good evening, dear art lovers!

Today I have a new painting for you, which is called "Morning on the Bridge". I painted it with acrylic paints on a 45x35 cardboard.

This time I wanted to make a kind of colorful urban landscape with colorful houses, uncomplicated roofs and their beautiful reflection in the water. To do this, I first outlined the outlines of the future bridge over the river and noted several architectural structures.

Next, I had to depict the water surface, and most importantly, show the reflection in the water of these most interesting buildings visible from the shore.

For the painting, I used red cadmium and, of course, zinc whitewash and several combinations of ultramarine with whitewash and ochre... I like to choose the shades for applying color to a painting the most. You'll never guess what color you'll end up with. Just add a little more black or yellow and you get a completely new shade of the color palette. Therefore, sometimes it is difficult to mix a new one when the induced paint runs out. It always turns out a slightly different shade.

In addition, it is also difficult that acrylic dries quickly. Of course, these are not oil paints, but this is its advantage. Then I began to draw various details, windows, doors, paint facades, and draw the bridge itself...

And after some time of work, I got this picture
