The bird with a flowers crown (oil on paper)

An happy Saturday to you all!
I hope you are having a nice weekend. Here the sky is full of dark clouds and maybe (finally) we will have some rainy hours after a lot of sunny days. The plants all around really needs some rain and the temperatures are higher than usual during this month and so we are ready to welcome a rainy weekend. Just to know, at now the little plums on the brunches of my plum tree are falling down before to be ready to eat.

Yesterday I shared with you some pics of small pink roses (you can watch the pics here) and this morning I decided to represent those flowers as a flower crown on the head of one of my funny (fat) bird. ^_^

This is the final result:

I had so much fun to image one of my bird (in my own illustrative style) with a flowers crown and I tink I'll paint some other similar ones.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I love to do, I took also some pics during the process to share with you:
