Motherhood (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all! Another rainy day here and the floor of my backyard is full of red leaves fallen down from the brunches of my plum tree. To be honest, I love this sort of red carpet outside of my door, it's a touch of color on a grey day. 😊

This morning I woke up soon like I use to do every day. After my first cup of coffee and after I gave food to my furry friend Richy I started to work on a new artwork and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, the subjects are a woman and a child to reminds the them "motherhood". Usually I paint women with not so long hair, but in this case I decided to paint long haired woman to represent a sort of embrace with all her body.
It's an oil painting (even if I used the white ink for the lace collar) on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted this sweet scene so you can see the steps of the process too:

Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home where to be loved!
