A commissioned painting (oil on canvas)

An happy Friday to you all!

Cloudy day here, the weekend is just around the corner and maybe soon we'll have the right weather for October. ^_^
Yesterday there was another lesson of the art class in our lab and so I used my time between other students to finish the commissioned painting I started around 3 week ago.
During my solo exhibition a nice woman who live in my city fallen in love with one of my oil on paintings inspired by some photos by the american photographer Diane Arbus.
In the painting there were a woman and a souvenir dog in form of a poodle. She asked me to paint a similar artwork inspired by her daughter and her dog, everything in a smaller size and so I made it for her! Her daughter is a nice young blond woman and her dog is a funny small Zwergschnauzer.
Now the artwork is drying (it need around a couple of weeks to dry enough) and I can show you the final result:

The previous painting of mine that this local customer loved so much was the following one:

The piece is an oil painting on canvas sized 24 x 30 cm (around 9" x 12") and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this portrait so you can see the process too:

See ya soon and stay safe,
