Every once in a while I experiment drawing on my Surface starting with a black page. It's a good exercise, forces you to reverse thinking on lights and darks. Back when I was still in art classes at University, we often did projects using gray paper, so that we could make light and dark tones in both directions. I think that just makes for twice as much work...

I have the same feeling when I try to draw on white paper. It's like forcing me to reverse my thoughts about lights and darks. I'm so used to black paper :)
I'm so glad to see you here. Thank you very much for your interest, support and valuable comment.
