Traversées Mauritaniedes offers us every year meetings on literature with authors who come from all over the world. These drawings are made at the theodore Monod High School where students met Tahar Ben Jalloun (Morocco / France) and Mariem mint Derwich (Mauritania / France)

The students had prepared questions which the two authors answered. Ben Jalloun spoke about the Thousand and One Nights and as a writer writes not to die .... Favorite Derwich of High School students spoke about her experience as a woman growing up in a claustrophobic society using written words / poetry to express themselves .
