I'll tell you the whole process. A friend asked me to draw him with his girlfriend and create an illustration as if he were proposing to her.
I sent him a simple sketch, and he really liked it. He only wanted the drawing; he didn't want me to add color. That made me a little sad because I had already imagined the whole scene colorful and beautiful with my signature splash background. Even so, I didn't let it go. I added the background and shadows using Payne's Gray tones.

During our conversation, he told me about some videos his friends make with the Grok app, which uses AI to create videos. To test it out, he used my drawing as an example. We didn't give it any prompts or instructions; we just uploaded the image and clicked "generate video." Then, just a few seconds later, the AI created the following video, which impressed me. I loved it, and I was thrilled to see these two characters in motion with all the effects: the smudges, the shadows, the wind, even the sound.
