Hi sketchbook community, I hope all is good.
I would like to start by saying a big thanks for all the support.
My artwork of today in my digital sketch series is a digital sketch of an anime girl squatting. It was designed on Medibang paint on my mobile device.
The reference was gotten from an Instagram post I came across earlier today and the technique I used for shading is called the linear hatching technique.
Below is my process.

Potential source of art plagiarism

The image you posted is the primary source of value for your post or you have posted an image in one of the photography/art curated tags without attribution or source. By doing so you are claiming to be the sole content creator and that the image is original to yourself.

Plagiarism is the copying & pasting of others' work without giving credit to the original author or artist. This includes manually reproducing the work of others.

We would appreciate it if you could avoid this type of plagiarism.

Thank you.

Hi, I feel he/she should be warned first as he/she isn't copying and pasting the artwork of others' work completely, he/she is inspired by others' artwork and recreated them. You can visually see that the artist( @rowdyrreedd ) has a unique shading style.

He/she is a newcomer and downvoting without warning to Reputation 7, is almost like sending them away from Hive. Such talents should be warned at least twice and if they don't follow the warning, then downvoting is justice.

I have just checked through his/her last 7 contents and I don't see an outright plagiarism.

If you believe it is an outright copy of others' artwork, then cool to downvote, is the right decision. If not outright copy and paste, giving a warning is the best decision.

I love @hivewatchers, and what it is doing for the Hive community and I myself have reported a couple of plagiarised content creators here on Hive.

I support newbies here on Hive and flag those who only want to profit off the Hive system, I don't like to see talented newbie users flagged when they don't know that they need to add a reference image or link to the image that inspired their artwork. We shouldn't discourage them.

I hope you reconsider your decision @hivewatchers and continue to do the amazing work you have been doing here in the Hive community.

Cheers!
