Greetings to all the Hive community, I continue showing for you my digital illustrations that I make with Illustrator CC, in this publication I want you to see this design of a Toucan in the style of Wedha Pop Art Portrait well known for its geometric shapes and flat colors, this bird is widely distributed throughout the American continent, from Mexico to Argentina and is well known for its feathers and beak of very bright colors.
The creative process of this technique is based on two main processes: the process of faceted, which consists of drawing the volume with lines and flat shapes using the tool known as Pen, which is very versatile when making illustrations not only in this program but also in all others whose main work is vectorization. For those who do not know what is vectorizing, I tell them that is the process of converting images that are formed by pixels, in images formed by vectors, that is, drawings obtained by defined contours that can be enlarged or reduced to any size without losing its high quality, and the second process that I do is coloring, which is nothing more than applying color to all the flat pieces that we drew previously, either randomly, using warm and cold colors, making combinations with the illustrator function of recolor illustration or looking for some inspiration from color palettes that are on the internet.

Saludos a toda la comunidad de Hive, continúo mostrando para ustedes mis ilustraciones digitales que realizo con el programa Illustrator CC, en esta publicación quiero que vean este diseño de un Tucán al estilo de Wedha Pop Art Portrait muy conocido por sus formas geométricas y colores planos, esta ave se encuentra ampliamente distribuida por el continente americano, desde México hasta Argentina y es muy conocida por sus plumas y pico de colores muy llamativos.
El proceso creativo de esta técnica se basa en dos procesos principales: el proceso de facetado, que consiste en dibujar el volumen con líneas y formas planas utilizando la herramienta que se conoce como Pluma, que es muy versátil a la hora de realizar ilustraciones no sólo en este programa sino también en todos los demás cuyo trabajo principal sea la vectorización. Para los que no saben que es vectorizar, les digo que eso es el proceso de convertir imágenes que están formadas por pixeles, en imágenes formadas por vectores, es decir, dibujos obtenidos por contornos definidos que pueden ampliarse o reducirse a cualquier tamaño sin que pierda su alta calidad, y el segundo proceso que hago es el coloreado, que no es otra cosa que aplicarle color a todos las piezas planas que dibujamos anteriormente, ya sea al azar, usando con cálidos y fríos, haciendo combinaciones con la función de illustrator de volver a colorear ilustración o buscando alguna inspiración de paletas de colores que estén en internet.
