Language of the Look // Lenguaje de la Mirada [ENG-ESP]

Greetings to all, the digital illustration that I come to show you are some eyes in the style of Wedha Pop Art Portrait, which is characterized by its geometric shapes and flat colors; in previous posts I have already talked a little more about this technique so creative and very popular today. The idea of making this illustration is because of the importance of the look, because with it we can show hate, anger, desire for revenge, love, passion, and all the indifference in the world, it is even said that you can get to hypnotize people, the look is part of the nonverbal language that gives us away and is closely related to the mood, it is our contact with others, we can not avoid not looking, because eye contact is the main element of connection with the listener.
To make this illustration I first looked for a photograph of some eyes, I opened it in Illustrator CC software and with the pen tool I made several irregular linear polygons of different sizes, once finished all the tracing, the next step is to paint it with flat colors and using the areas of lights and shadows of the source image to determine how light or dark should be the chosen color.

Saludos para todos, la ilustración digital que vengo a mostrarles son unos ojos al estilo de Wedha Pop Art Portrait, que se caracteriza por sus formas geométricas y colores planos; en post anteriores ya he hablado un poco más sobre esta técnica tan creativa y muy popular en la actualidad. La idea de hacer esta ilustración es por lo importante que es la mirada, ya que con ella podemos demostrar odio, ira, deseo de venganza, amor, pasión, y toda la indiferencia del mundo, incluso se dice que se puede llegar a hipnotizar personas, la mirada es parte del lenguaje no verbal que nos delata y está íntimamente relacionada con el estado de ánimo, es nuestro contacto con los demás, no podemos evitar no mirar, porque el contacto visual es el principal elemento de conexión con el oyente.
Para hacer esta ilustración busqué primero una fotografía de unos ojos, la abrí en el software Illustrator CC y con la herramienta pluma hice varios polígonos lineales irregulares de diferentes tamaños, una vez terminado todo el trazado, el siguiente paso es pintarlo con colores planos y utilizando las áreas de luces y sombras de la imagen de origen para determinar qué tan claro u oscuro debe ser el color elegido.
