Hi everyone!
These are some drawings I made to study the muscles of the torso, trying to find out where they are and replace them in the correct place on my body sketch.
I start by tracing the rib cage and pelvis, this is a good 1st placement for all the next parts.
With the torso and arms placed, I know where the muscles will go in relation to them.
If you are interested in anatomy theory I made a thread about this a few years ago.
The left one is really awkward from a perspective point of view, but the focus here was on the placement of the muscles, so it is not so important at this point.
To place the shoulder muscles easily, I like to imagine a box containing the rib cage; this creates an upper plane on which the side of the trapezius and the whole of the deltoid would be placed.
That's all for today :)
I hope you will like it.
See you soon for more!
Wow, I really need to do this kind of practice. I would love to improve my drawings, especially anatomy
I really encourage you to study anatomy, it really makes a difference to your drawings. :)
