Hi everyone!

This is my drawing for the word "sun". I wanted to make a graphic rendering, and the word sun made me think directly of the mythical Japanese sun; so I also added waves, also with Japanese inspiration.

Process

When I made the sketch, it was not so easy to trace the rays of the sun by hand, to make them fall just right and in proportion. So I did my best, but the geometry isn't perfect 😁

Then I choose the black marker to paint the sun, and I shade the waves a bit to get some volume.
