Happy start to the week! This time I share with you a drawing that I made in graphite and it is a portrait of a renowned singer of hip-hop culture. In that sense, I decided to capture this artist since I like the genre of RAP and for me it is music that inspires me in my creative processes, because it is linked to my essence as a visual creator. In this way, I will explain to you below who it is and what was the process for the elaboration of this proposal.
¡Feliz inicio de semana! en esta oportunidad comparto con ustedes un dibujo que realicé a grafito y se trata de un retrato de un cantante reconocido de la cultura hip-hop. En ese sentido, decidí plasmar a este artista ya que me gusta el genero del RAP y para mi es una música que me inspira en mis procesos creativos, debido a que está vinculado a mi esencia como creador visual. De esa forma, les explicaré a continuación de quien trata y cual fue el proceso para la elaboración de esta propuesta.
The person who I drew on this occasion, is the American Eric Lynn Wright (1963-1995) known in hip hop as Eazy-E, he was a rapper, producer and rose to musical fame with the gangsta rap group NWA a The late 80s. For its part, his exploits in this genre motivated me to seek visual information about this artist in order to document myself, studying his features and thus selecting an image where his most outstanding features of his face would clearly be appreciated to make the proposal.
La persona que dibujé en esta oportunidad, se trata del estadounidense Eric Lynn Wright (1963-1995) conocido en el hip hop como Eazy-E, fue un rapero, productor y saltó a la fama musical con el grupo de gangsta rap N.W.A a finales de los 80. Por su parte, sus hazañas en este genero me motivaron a buscar información visual de este artista para poder documentarme, estudiando sus rasgos y de esa manera seleccionando una imagen donde claramente se apreciaran sus características más destacadas de su rostro para realizar la propuesta.

Thus, once the image is selected, organize the materials that you would use in this proposal such as: Pencils 3h, hb, 4b, 6b, white paper for drawing, eraser and blur. For this reason, I began to configure and locate the drawing at a proportional size of the paper format and from there to locate each element of the face, respecting the proportions of the image. In such a way, placing the elements I apply the different volumes with the variety of pencils that I use by means of layers of gray, working the lighter tones and then darking the low light areas, until achieving the objective of raising the different scales of tones which has the visual reference.
Así pues, una vez seleccionada la imagen organicé los materiales que emplearía en esta propuesta como: Lapices 3h, hb, 4b, 6b, papel blanco para dibujo, borrador y difumino. Por ello, comencé a configurar y ubicar el dibujo a un tamaño proporcional del formato del papel y de ahí a ubicar cada elemento del rostro, respetando las proporciones de la imagen. De tal manera, ubicado los elementos aplico los diferentes volumenes con la variedad de lapices que utilice por medio de capas de grises, trabajando los tonos más claros y luego oscureciendo las zonas de baja luz, hasta lograr el objetivo de plantear las diferentes escalas de tonos que tiene la referencia visual.
