My First Drawing using Autodesk Sketchbook

in Sketchbook5 years ago

Hello Hivians, i will be sharing with you my first art drawing which i did using Autodesk sketchbook and I hope the community will love it. I am not a professional when it comes to using the app for drawing though but I believe I still have lots of room for improvement. After taking my time to understand some basic steps on how to use the app for drawing, I finally give it a shot with my own selfie picture and this is my final result.

As a beginner, I know i needed to task myself to see how far I can go with the drawing because everything about Artwork deals with practical. Below is the original selfie picture I used for the drawing

The first thing I did after launching the Autodesk Sketchbook was choosing a background for my drawing as it is shown in my final drawing and the next step is importing the image I want to draw. Having done that, the next thing I did was selecting another overlay for the drawing outline as shown below

This to me is the most difficult aspect of the drawing because it stand as the foundation of the whole thing and any alteration at this stage will definitely affect the drawing.

Autodesk Sketchbook allows the Artist to make use of different overlaying for a perfect drawing, I begin to add colours starting with the eyes and the hair before proceeding to shading the face, lips and the cloth.

It was great getting my first drawing done with Autodesk Sketchbook and I will be trying out more drawings to see how far I can go using the app and bringing out more creativity in me. I will love to know how Hivians feel about my first drawing and where I actually improve next time.

With Love,
@Oxygen02
