pencil and ink drawing

in Sketchbook4 years ago (edited)

As much as I love the speed and convenience of working digitally, the medium has not quiet lived up to the experience of working with real physical materials.

I find the physical feedback to make sketching far more expressive of my intent, and working with ink is quiet unforgiving, and with that is an opportunity to experience permanent failures, growth, and beauty at the end.

For this piece, I drew the sketch with a light blue pencil, and then inked it using a G-Pen dipped in black permanent pigment ink.

I love how the lines flow! And I agree, working with ink is like performing a surgical operation.

Hahaha, yes it does feel like that!
No undos!!

Thanks Eyedrip!
