All the love I did not receive — Menstrual Blood Art and Poetry [esp-eng]

Quiero sangrar
Y llorar
Y temblar
Y estar borracha

Y moje
Y seque
Todo el amor que no di
Y todo el amor
Que no recibí
Que no recibí
Que no recibí
Que no recibí
Que no recibí
Que no recibí

I want to bleed
And cry
And tremble
And be drunk
of the red wine that runs from inside me

Let the world come crashing down
I want everything to be a blur
To be an earthquake
that moans from within
because I no longer know how to scream

And let my tears flood all that I was
And all that I will be
And, above all,
All that I will never be
And all that I could not be

I want the blood
to splash
and wet
and dry
all the love I didn't give
and all the love
that I did not receive
that I did not receive
that I did not receive
that I did not receive
that I did not receive
that I did not receive

How irreverent! How beautiful! I absolutely loved this wholeness you share here. The writing, the visual message, so powerful it made my eyes water. The repetition of that phrase, an echo that resonated with me.

Thank you for this. You're incredibly strong, in all your womanhood and softness.

Abrazos!

Thank you for thoughtful words and support, always, as well ❤ And for appreciating and having something to say about my art which is my soul speaking things I don't know how to otherwise.

You too are strong and resilient; even if I haven't commented that much, I do read you!

Un abrazo fuerte!
