Hello friends, here I am as usual, sharing my day-to-day and learning journey with you. Yesterday I shared some perspective exercises and told you that cones terrified me because I consider cone perspective one of the hardest. So I started there—eat a frog, they say… well, a cone too.
Hola amigos, aquí como cada día como es costumbre compartiendo con ustedes mi día a día y mi camino de aprendizaje. El día de ayer compartía mis ejercicios de perspectiva y les contaba que los conos me aterraban porque considero la perspectiva del cono de las más difíciles. Así que empecé con eso, cómete una rana dicen... un cono también.
On the next page—divided as always to save space—I began by warming up the hand with lines.
En la siguiente página dividida como siempre para ahorrar espacio primero a calentar la mano con líneas.

A creativity exercise where I had to illustrate the words silver, science fiction, and guinea pig. So I drew a space guinea pig with a helmet, surrounded by lots of food bags it bought with its silver coins.
Un ejercicio de creatividad donde tenía que ilustrar las palabras Plata, ciencia ficción y cobaya. Entonces dibujé un cobaya espacial con su casco y rodeado de muchas bolsas de comida que se compró con su plata.
At the bottom, an exercise drawing a cityscape in perspective, and lastly I tried to draw a simple face.
En la parte inferior un ejercicio de dibujar un paisaje en perspectiva de una ciudad y por último traté de hacer un rostro simple.
The day continued with a very simple ink drawing using perspective: a cigarette box, a pencil I had on the desk, and a small cream container. I quite liked the result.
El día continuó con un dibujo a tinta bien simple y utilizando la perspectiva. Una caja de cigarrillos, un lápiz que tenía sobre el escritorio y un pequeño recipiente de cremas. Me gustó bastante el resultado.
I had to do today’s challenge drawing, and the theme was Aura. I’ll say now it’ll be the last drawing for this challenge—I won’t be picking it back up. I drew a witch in a forest surrounded by stars—it was more of a quick sketch than a full drawing.
Tenía que hacer el dibujo correspondiente al reto del día de hoy y el tema era Aura, adelanto que será el último dibujo de este reto y que no lo retomé más. Dibujé una bruja en un bosque rodeada de estrellas, más que un dibujo fue un boceto rápido.
I reached the end of the sketchbook—every page was shared here on this blog—and now I need to reflect on how far I’ve come. To be honest, I know I’ve improved just a little, and I know the road is long and difficult, but I’ll keep drawing. I already have the next notebook ready—it’s the same as this one, but lines won’t stop me, hahaha. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Llegué al final del sketchbook, cada hoja fue compartida aquí en este blog, y debo hacer una reflexión para saber cómo voy. Siendo sinceros sé que he mejorado muy poco, sé que el camino es largo y difícil pero seguiré dibujando. Ya tengo lista la próxima libreta, es igual que esta pero las rayas no me detendrán jajajaja. Lastly, I closed and sent off the notebook with a drawing of Roxas from the video game Kingdom Hearts, one of my favorite games. In this case, I copied a panel from the manga and really liked how it turned out. I think it’s a great way to say goodbye to this notebook.
Por último cerré y despedí la libreta con un dibujo de Roxas, del videojuego Kingdom Hearts, uno de mis videojuegos favoritos. En este caso copié un panel del manga y me gustó mucho el resultado. Creo que es una excelente forma de decir adiós a esta libreta.

Yesss, of course, it's one of my faves on the DS! I was actually playing it on a broke-emulator not long ago. I adore everything by Nomura, anything that smells like emo boys and oversized zippers
