Hello friends of Hive! How are they having a good time? I hope well and creating a lot of art!! Friends today I want to talk to you about something that for those who are starting many times it is difficult to decide, even for me who have already been working as a portraitist for about a year, I still get the thought of ... the price will be the right one? Will it be very expensive? Will it be very cheap? What value should I put on my work?
Friends, the issue of the cost will really depend on you.. and only on you. Let's think something, the value of things is subjective (there will be people who will find it very expensive and others very cheap. That's why we must find our ideal client, but that's what I'll talk about in the next post). Only you know how much effort you dedicated to your work, what materials you used, what time it took you to do it, what size, if it required too many details or not. My recommendation is that you calculate an hourly labor cost, for example: if you set your work time at 1 dollar and it took 40 hours to do it, your piece will have a value of $40. NOTE this is just one example, if you consider that the materials you used are quite expensive, add a percentage of cost to each of them. Although in my opinion you should also include your materials in the value, even if they are not the most expensive.

Try to improve every day, use good quality materials, and be the most professional in your work so you can increase its value.
Friends, never give away your work. You are incredible, you have a beautiful talent. You are unique, your art is unique and that is why we must give it the value it deserves!

Friends, remember that this is just a recommendation. The value will also depend on you.

I say goodbye for today, we read each other in the following post! Xoxoxo

Xoxoxo
