Hello, Everyone!
If you're expecting the next part of Mary Windfiddle's story, I might have to disappoint you. I've been feeling kinda burned out recently, especially regarding my writing, and and that has led to spacing out the story updates.
In order to rest up that part of my creative brain (but still remain active on the blog), I decided to instead post some visual art that has nothing to do with Miss Windfiddle and her adventures.
This is the first picture in my new sketchbook. It's really easy to make and requires very little "talent". You can make it using any kind of materials - the only thing you actually need need is some washi-tape (or, in my case, masking tape because I was too lazy to go find my washi-supplies and thought the "torn up" effect looked really cool).
I came across the idea of the piece somewhere on the Webs (didn't save the source, sorry) and had to try it out using my own colourful scribbles! I think it worked out... good-ish. I could have been a bit gentler with the tape 😅 But even before removing it, it looked kinda cool!
What do you think about it? Do you like how it's turned out? Do you think you'll enjoy this kind of updates until I'm able to concentrate on my writing again?
Thank you for reading so far!
Have a great week and take care!
