I understand that you have been having difficulties using Ecency app.
Please try going into 'settings' and switching to different servers until you find one that works well for you. That's always the first thing to try when you are experiencing issues! Let me know if that works!

I don't have other suggestions, but will ask developers for help. If you use Ecency.com on your phone does that work for you?
