Magnolia, Intense Blue Eyes | Digital Art 🧿

Happy Friday my people, how are you? I hope you are excellent, your friend Manuel greets you and I am very happy to share with you a new artistic post for my blog. This time I wanted to make an illustration focused on the theme of royalty, I wanted to draw a woman empress which I called with the name of Magnolia, a hard and fierce ruler of a small country which thanks to his tactics and intellect has managed to grow and prosper despite the attack of much larger and more powerful kingdoms; Magnolia is a woman with great impetus and vision, instead of hiring or bringing foreign warriors she had the idea of training young warriors born within her own kingdom since they were very young, since no one will defend better and give their lives for her kingdom than its inhabitants, and at the same time these little warriors would be much easier to infiltrate neighboring kingdoms since no one would suspect them:

Feliz viernes mi gente, como están? espero que excelente, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta ocasión quise realizar una ilustración enfocada en el tema de la realeza, quise dibujar a una Mujer emperatriz a la cual llame con el nombre de Magnolia, una dura y fiera gobernante de un pequeño país el cual gracias a sus tácticas e intelecto ha logrado crecer y prosperar a pesar de los ataque de reinos mucho mas grandes y poderosos; Magnolia es una mujer con gran ímpetu y visión, en lugar de contratar o traer guerreros extranjeros tuvo la idea de fue entrenar jóvenes guerreros nacidos dentro de su propio reino desde que eran muy muy jóvenes, ya que nadie defenderá mejor y entregara la vida por su reino como que sus mismos habitantes, y al mismo tiempo estos pequeños guerreros serian mucho más fáciles de infiltrar en reinos vecinos ya que nadie sospecharía de ellos:

I started my sketch trying to find a good pose for Magnolia's structure, this time I decided for a portrait style pose since I would mainly focus on highlighting the details of her face, hair and some pieces of jewelry. I started the painting process giving an intense pink tone to the skin, in this case first I used the airbrush for the shadows and the watercolor for the lights on the nose, forehead and upper eyelids; having the skin well detailed and smoothed with the swab brush the next thing I did was to take the airbrush once again and give small brush strokes in the middle area of the face as in the nose, cheekbones and eyelids, with this I wanted to give warmth and life to Magnolia's face.

Empecé mi boceto tratando de encontrar una buena pose para la estructura de Magnolia, en esta ocasión me decidí por una pose estilo retrato ya que principalmente me enfocaría en resaltar mucho los detalles de su rostro, cabello y algunas piezas de joyería. Empecé el proceso de pintado dándole una tonalidad rosada intensa a la piel, en este caso primero usé el aerógrafo para las sombras y la acuarela para las luces en la nariz, frente y parpados superiores; ya teniendo la piel bien detallada y suavizada con el pincel hisopo lo siguiente que hice fue tomar el aerógrafo una vez mas y dar pequeños brochazos en la zona media de la cara como en la nariz, pómulos y parpados, con esto lo que buscaba era darle calidez y vida al rostro de Magnolia.

In the 2nd part of the painting process I wanted to take a few blue tones to give Magnolia's eyes a contrasting look and above all a super strong and cold expression, as expected of an empress, first I played a little with the navy blues creating small circles in the inner part of the iris and with some bank tones I worked the shines creating a kind of curve in the eyes. For the hair painting I wanted to use reddish tones slightly mixing with brown tones to create a full elegant and refined hairstyle, first I used the watercolor brushes to form the texture of the hair and finally I used my bristle brush to texturize a little bit the strands in a soft way.

En la 2da parte del proceso de pintado quise tomar unos cuantos tonos azules para darle a los ojos de Magnolia una apariencia contrastante y sobre todo una expresión super fuerte y fría, como se espera de una emperatriz, primero jugué un poco con los azules marinos creando pequeños círculos en la parte interna del iris y con algunos tonos bancos trabajé los brillos creando una especie de curva en los ojos. Para el pintado del cabello quise usar tonos rojizos levemente mezclando con tonos marrones para crear un peinado full elegante y refinado, primero use los pinceles de acuarela para ir formando la textura del pelo y por último use mi pincel de cerdas para texturizar un poco los mechones de forma suave.

With respect to the clothes I used red and yellow tones since my idea was to create a dress that was like someone of royalty, then starting with an intermediate watermelon red I was texturing the dress with strokes and brushstrokes outward, this to give the shape and volume to both arms and bust, then scale a little more tones and layers to give a shiny and smooth texture; then with the yellow tones I tried to create a second fabric but for the neck, this with the intention of making the dress look much more elegant and with greater visual impact. In the case of the accessories for the outfit what I came up with was to take some yellow tones a little more saturated and create some golden earrings hanging from her ears: and then with the same yellow tones I created a necklace with a thick chain and a pendant with a greenish gem right in the center.

Con respecto a la ropa use tonos rojos y amarillos ya que mi idea era crear un vestido que fuese como de alguien de la realeza, entonces partiendo con un rojo sandia intermedio fui texturizando el vestido con trazos y pinceladas hacia afuera, esto para darle la forma y el volumen tanto a los brazos como al busto, luego escale un poco mas los tonos y las capas para darle una textura brillante y tersa; luego con los tonos amarillos trate de crear una segunda tela pero para la parte del cuello, esto con la intensión de que el vestido se viese mucho mas elegante y con mayor impacto visual. En el caso de los complementos para el atuendo lo que se me ocurrió fue tomar unos tonos amarillos un poco mas saturados y crearle unos aretes dorados o pendientes colgando de sus orejas: y después con los mismos tonos amarillos cree un collar con una cadena una poco gruesa y un dije con una gema verdosa justo en el centro.
