Digital Art | Serenitty, the ruthless one with sparkling eyes

Good morning, my dear #Hive readers! Happy Sunday to all of you who are here reading me today and, of course, having a great weekend. Your friend Manuel here is super happy to share a new artistic post for my blog with you. This time, I bring you an illustration that I was working on until yesterday morning. It is a drawing in which I wanted to create a kind of evil empress named Serenitty, the ruthless one with bright eyes, who during her youth was a tough and ruthless warrior with rare magical powers, fighting in countless battles. little by little she rose through the ranks and gained power, as well as gaining more and more followers, and over time she was able to take control of a huge and prosperous kingdom; since then (Serenitty) has ruled with an iron fist and relentless, showing no mercy to those who dare to attack her or her kingdom:

Muy buenos días mis queridos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz domingo para todos los que se encuentran por aquí leyéndome en este día y que, por supuesto estén pasando un excelente fin de semana, por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta oportunidad les traigo una ilustración en la cual estuve trabajando hasta ayer en la mañana, se trata de un dibujo en el que quise crear a una especie de emperatriz malvada llamada Serenitty, la despiadada de los ojos brillantes, la cual durante su juventud fue una dura y despiadada guerrera con raros poderes mágicos, luchando en una incontable cantidad de batallas, poco a poco fue escalando y ganado poder, así como también ganando mas y mas seguidores, y con el tiempo pudo hacerse con el dominio de un enorme y prospero reino; desde entonces (Serenitty) ha gobernado con mano dura e implacable, sin piedad de los que se atrevan a atentar contra ella o contra su reino:

Well, as usual, I started by sketching my work. In this case, I drew Serenitty as if she were sitting at a real table or something like that, planning her next strategic move with a serious and cold expression. With the sketch ready, I was able to focus on choosing the colors that would bring this character to life. In the case of painting the skin, I decided to start with a color palette consisting of pink tones and my airbrush brush. With this, I was looking to achieve a softer texture for the skin, and I also used the same airbrush with a saturated red to give warmth to the cheeks.

Bueno, como es habitual empecé realizando el boceto de mi obra, en este caso dibujé a (Serenitty) como si se encontrar sentada en una mesa real o algo así, planificando su siguiente paso estratégico con una expresión seria y fría. Con el boceto listo ya pude centrarme en la elección de los colores que darían vida a este personaje, en el caso del pintado de la piel decidí empezar con una paleta de colores conformada por tonos rosados y mi pincel aerógrafo, con esto lo que buscaba era lograr una textura mas suave para la piel, así como también usé el mismo aerógrafo con un rojo saturado para darle calidez a las mejillas.

For the painting, I decided to use some purple tones that I had in my color palette and that I really liked. I chose these tones because I thought they would give Serenitty a unique style, as well as a much more serious and intimidating look. For the hair, I decided to use orange and yellow tones to create a bit of contrast with the skin and eyes. In this case, I again applied the strokes with my watercolor brush to achieve the basic structure, then with my bristle brush I made strokes from front to back, creating a bun at the back and giving good volume to the sides.

Para el pintado de los decidí usar unos tonos morados que tenía en mi paleta de colores y que me gustaron mucho, elegí estos tonos ya que me pareció le darían un estilo único a Serenitty, así como también una mirada mucho más seria e intimidante. Con respecto al cabello decidí usar tonos naranjas y amarillos para buscar un poco de contraste con respecto a la piel y los ojos, en este caso nuevamente apliqué los trazos con mi pincel de acuarela para lograr la estructura base, luego con mi pincel de cerdas realicé trazos de adelante hacia atrás creando un moño atrás, y dando un buen volumen a los lados.

In the case of clothing, as the main character is an empress, my idea was for her to wear clothing appropriate to that role. The first thing I did was to use a few shades of brown to create a dress with a high neck and long sleeves that almost reached her fingers. In this case, I used watercolors and my earth brush to achieve a rough texture on the fabric, as well as a thicker appearance in the high neck area. As a complement to Serenitty's clothing, I decided to add a kind of earth on her head, with a large gold medallion or device. To do this, I used yellow and orange tones and a little white to achieve the realistic gold texture I wanted so much.

En el caso del a ropa como el personaje principal se trataría de una emperadora pues mi idea era que llevase una vestimenta acorde a ello, lo primero fue tomar unos cuantos tonos marrones para crear un vestido de cuello algo y mangas largas casi hasta los dedos, en este caso use acuarela y mi pincel de tierra las lograr una textura rugosa en la tela, así como también una apariencia mas gruesa en la zona del cuello alto. También como complemento para la ropa de Serenitty decidí agregar una especie de tierra sobre su cabeza, con un gran medallón o artilugio de oro, para ello usé tonos amarillos, naranjas y un poco de blanco para así logar la textura de oro realista que tanto quería.
