Digital Art | Andryah, Vampire of the Catacombs 🧛🏼‍♀️🦇

Good afternoon, my dear readers of #Hive. Happy Sunday to all of you reading this. Once again, your friend Manuel here is super happy to share a new artistic post for my blog. This time, I wanted to create an illustration focused on the theme of dark creatures. I wanted to create a kind of vampire girl named Andryah, who lives in the depths of an ancient abandoned temple. Legend has it that Andryah has lived in this place for hundreds of years, but few brave souls have dared to enter this place, and the few who have done so have not lived to tell the tale... I hope you like it, and here I will leave you with part of the process of how I made this drawing:

Muy buenas tardes mis queridos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz domingo para todos los que me leen por aquí en esta ocasión, por aquí los saluda una vez más su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder compartirles un nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta ocasión quise realizar una ilustración enfocada en la temática de criaturas oscuras, quise crear una especie de chica vampira llamada (Andryah), la cual habita en las profundidades de un antiguo templo abandonado; cuenta la leyenda que (Andryah) ha habitado este lugar desde hace cientos de años, pero poco han sido los valientes que se han atrevido a adentrarse en este lugar, y los poco que lo han hecho no han vivido para contarlo…espero les guste y aquí les dejare parte del proceso de como hice este dibujo:

PROCESS / PROCESO

Well, I decided to start by creating a basic sketch to give some structure, shape, and pose to the main character, who in this case would be Andryah. I chose to give her a fairly slim appearance, aged approximately 20-25, with long, straight hair. With the sketch ready, I was able to move on to the next step in the process of creating my work: the coloring process. In this case, I decided to work on the skin with a base of intense pink tones and a little red. For this part, I only like to use my airbrush and watercolor brushes to define and blend tones.

Bueno, decidí empezar construyendo un boceto básico para darle un poco de estructura, forma y pose al personaje principal que en este caso sería (Andryah), en este caso opte por darle una apariencia bastante delgada, de una edad de 20-25 años aproximadamente, con una cabellera larga y lisa. Con el boceto listo pude pasarme al siguiente paso en el proceso de creación de mi obra, el proceso de coloreado, en este caso decidí trabajar la piel con una base de tonos rosados intensos y un poco de rojo, en esta parte solo me gusta usar mi pincel de aerógrafo y el de acuarela para definir y mezclar tonos.

With regard to the face, my idea was for (Andryah) to convey a rather cold and evil personality, which is why I chose to create a somewhat narrowed gaze. For the base, I created a transition of light pinks and whites, then used scarlet and carmine red tones to form what would be the iris and inner pupil. Then, for the lips, I used more intermediate reds and a little orange. In this case, I wanted to complement (Andryah)'s personality with a subtle smile.

Con respecto al rostro mi idea era que (Andryah) trasmitiera una personalidad bastante fría y malvada, es por ello que opte por crea una mirada un tanto entrecerrada, para la base cree una transición de rosados claros y blancos, luego con tonos rojos escarlata y carmín forme lo que seria el iris y la pupila interna; después para los labios use rojos mas intermedios y un poco de naranja, en este caso quise complementar la personalidad de (Andryah) con una sutil sonrisa.

For the hair, I decided to use reddish tones similar to those of the eyes as a base, and with the help of my watercolor brush, I created long, straight hair that fell slightly over the shoulders, with the rest falling down the back. Here, in addition to watercolor, I used my 3-point brush to achieve a much more realistic texture. For the outfit, I decided to use brown tones. My idea here was to create a kind of elegant dress for Andryah. First, I used watercolor to give the fabric on the torso its basic shape. Then, using the same brush but with low opacity, I created a second layer of fabric around the neck and arms. This complemented the outfit and gave it a slightly more elegant touch.

Para el apartado del pelo decidí tomar como base unas tonalidades rojizas similares a las de los ojos, y con ayuda de mi pincel de acuarela forme una cabellera larga y lisa que cayera un poco sobre los hombros, y el resto en su espalda, aquí además de la acuarela use mi pincel de 3 puntas para así lograr una textura de mechones mucho más realista. Para la creación de la vestimenta se me ocurrió usar tonos marrones, mi idea aquí era crear para (Andryah) una especie de vestido elegante, primero me ocupe de dar la forma base con acuarela a la tela del torso, luego con el mismo pincel, pero a baja opacidad cree una 2da capa de tela alrededor del cuello y los brazos, esto como complemente que le diera un toque un poco mas elegante a su atuendo.
