The energy levels barely hover above - I feel fucked up by a train, and my brain is now mashed potato. The only thing I got going with this is that, oddly, I do not feel anxious in this state. It is very strange. Either it is due to me getting fully locked in, or I am so tired I am slightly numb.
Yeah, creative stuff requires a ton of energy. It is mentally and physically taxing. Yet I fucking love it! Otherwise, I would not be doing this. It is worth it!
So, what do we have here today? I was not going to focus so much on binoculars as the object itself but more on the functionality of this device. You spot something curious in the distance but cannot fully see all too well. Well. If you had binoculars, you likely could get a better look. That is what I try with my drawing.
Is that a little fox by the forest? Look, right there!
I have noticed that I need some noise while working on my art. Besides music, I love listening to podcasts, streamers making streamer things happen, and YouTube videos. Any noise will do! It takes the edge off, but I wonder if that also makes me feel more tired. I am not sure how brains are braining! Anyway, I would like to call out the Trash Taste podcast as the dominant noise today. If you like anime, manga, and people just shooting the shit, this podcast is very entertaining.
Until tomorrow! Thank you for all the support. It is deeply appreciated.

Very cute! I like how you used the two lenses of the binoculars to show two zoom levels. It looks like you inked the left one first, but which one did you draw first? Did you draw a close-up in the right lens then zoom out, or did you draw the left and zoom in? I think if I were going to try to do it, I'd do the close-up first. But I think there are probably pros and cons to each approach.
I imagine that it's challenging to "copy" a scene like that. Things like mirrors and other reflections, or cases like this. I don't think I've ever really tried it. But I think you did well with it. I really like the attention to detail, how you can really see the details in one and then find them in the other. The pose of the legs; the trees... for some reason it makes my brain happy. Very cool.
Mashed-potato brains, lol... you are doing great though. Keep it up! You can do it!
Also the left one. I am not sure, but for me, as left-handed person, it seems more natural to start from left and then move to right. I probably do that all the time. I have never noted it before. I will try to keep an eye on it.
I tried the best I could. I hope I did somewhat okay. It took a lot of poking and going between the two to match both scenes. I think I poked the smaller fox more though, since it is very hard to get such tiny details in there without losing the overall look.
I had a lot of fun creating this one!

Nu ir lapsa, un vai būs ezītis? (miglā) ;)
PS. Man patīk!
Mīļš paldies! Nezinu vai miglā, bet varbūt mans ezītis Lilija atgriezīsies kādā no Inktobra dienām! :)
The binocular is exceptional in that the same animal is zoomed less in one lens and more zoomed in the other lens. Well drawn. The flowers in your garden are stunning
Yay! Thank you! I was so happy when the idea of different zoom distances in each lens came to my mind. It seemed like a great representation what the binoculars are about.
Thanks! I wish they could have hanged around longer but the nature had different plans. Only the cold-hardy flowers are now remaining. I will have to dig out my dahlias for overwintering pretty soon.
