Hello beautiful people of Hive, I hope you have had an Excellent week full of lots of success! I share with you one of my most recent works for a carnival parade here in Venezuela, this parade is inspired by the Far West, it was a 2 meters long work using only acrylic paint. It was a great challenge, since I had not worked with such a big canvas for a long time.

We always start with a sketch, in this case I wanted the work to be seen in 3D, so I played with the dimensions of the cardboard, a 100% recycled cardboard work.

After sketching and starting to organize the elements, I painted the background using a gradient of orange tones to get something very realistic.

Thus, little by little, this art developed, allowing the parts to dry well in order to be able to continue with the other spaces, in each element color gradations were used to give volume to the work.

Finally the elements were glued with a silicone gun and with cardboard in small squares the 3D elements were made, I WAS COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT! It makes me want to venture into more challenges and want to keep modifying my work by adding new techniques. I'm so glad you made it this far, I hope if you like it leave your comments here Hivers.
