Hello! I'm back with new art I just finished today! It's been a long time since my last post. My weeks kinda mess up a little bit were fine now so let's start the art process shall we?
So I was scribbling on my phone, trying to force myself to make art. I failed at first, then this positive spirit whispered to me, "You need to do art," and I said, "Yeah, let's do it!"
Before I was always been a negative person. Thank God I'm no longer in the habit of constantly lowering myself. There is no problem with trying right? Exercise is extremely beneficial to my mental health.
I was planning on making underwater art before but my skill was still limited back then. Then I became familiar with the drawing application I was using, and my digital art skills increased slightly. Many techniques, however, need to be improved.
Continue to practice and have faith in the process!
I was thinking about getting an android tablet or a pen display tablet since my phone needs a break, and I'll never be able to do this art without her, but I kept thinking to myself, "Do I deserve to buy that thing?"
So I set a goal for myself to improve and remind myself that I deserve an upgrade. Hahaha. What kind of mindset do I possess?
Back to the art hehehe. I'm still not good a swimmer and never will be. So I will never experience this kind of thing ever. But sometimes the beach scares me.
Process
Im not i a hurry this time so my line art is kinda clean today.
Her hair was originally black, but I decided that a brilliant red orange would look better on her, so I changed it.
I added light shadows, shades and a little bit of blush. I wanted her to look more natural.
Light shadows, shades, and a tiny bit of blush were added. I wanted her to have a more natural look.
To define the contour of the bone, I added shadow to her body.
So I hide all of her layers so that I can sketch the background and add coral reefs to make her appear to be underwater. hehe
To make it look like she isn't alone, I added fish that lives inside coral reefs.
I added a bubble coming out of her lips and a bright bubble in the background to make it look like she's underwater.
I added layer that is blended to multiply and used the ocean blue and painted the whole canvas.
For the final touch added highlights and I added highlights to the water to reflect her face.

The illusion of water is beautifully portrayed.
Thank you :))
That's your spirit guide 😉. But I was really drawn to your work... because its an underwater goddess you are making! But I was really amazed you were able to put in the reflection of the water on her face. That is how it really is real life!
Kudos! I think this artwork is really good! And invest on that tablet! Your phone deserves a break 😂
