Hello! Today I'm sharing the process of a quite failed attempt at watercolor painting...
It's unusual for me to share unfinished projects or failed artworks, but I still wanted to show this one. Today I got a sudden spark of inspiration and decided to make use of it, at first it went pretty well actually! That was until I painted the eyes of the face. I made the crooked, since I always do my drawings rotated slightly sideways, and I lean in a lot so I often find some stuff crooked. It's not much of an issue most of the time because I make sure to check it beforehand, but this time I got so carried away I forgot. I tried to cover the face with gouache paint as an attempt of redemption, because it was already very good for someone who doesn't know much about watercolor techniques(that's me). It went well, but the color matching went a little... Wrong. Should I still keep on trying to make this a finished artwork?
Here is the sketch:
(Please ignore it's sideways haha)
