Hello hive blogger family, nice to meet you again. In my previous post, I explained that I received a drawing order from an IG account that I didn't know, then I finally finished the drawing and there is a story worth sharing with you all.
Here's the story
I'm going to backtrack a bit from the beginning, a few days ago I got a DM from an account I don't recognize and asked if I'd be willing to draw their child's pet.
Below is a screenshot of our conversation on Instagram
this is a photo of the puppy she wanted me to draw
Yesterday night to morning around 4am I finally finished the picture in question
From this I already know that he/she is trying to trick me, first, there was no notification whatsoever from my Paypal account, then he told me to check email spam (he/she immediately deleted the chat after he asked me to check spam email) and the most ridiculous thing was that the email I received was not from Paypal company but from email personal Gmail just like people's email in general. I let he/she play tricks on me :D
After chatting for a long time he/she finally realized that I was just wasting his time (isn't that not worth the time I spent specifically making pictures according to his request? yes, I spent about 8 hours) and finally he stopped the chat and somehow he/she seems to have deleted the his fake account.
I checked it and right, he's/she's deleted his account
Previously there were a few posts and reels on this account it also has a number of followers but currently no more.
If you ask me, how do you feel right now?
Of course I'm disappointed because there are people who try to deceive me and don't appreciate my hard work, but I consider this as my personal experience that not everyone cares about what we do and of course I hope that my case will be a lesson for others , I always give trust to other people and let them decide how far that trust can be maintained. And as a form of my gratitude, today I give the CC attribute to my image today (a puppy) and it is free to use.
I think that's enough of my story for today and back to the subject of our discussion.
Process
Before I used a pen as a drawing tool I also used a graphite pencil to draw basic patterns, so I didn't draw directly with the pen. as a canvas I use an A3 size (29,7 x 42 cm) HVS sheet that's like twice the quatro size sheet.
Basic drawing using a graphite pencil
After I'm sure of the object's shape and proportion, I continue to draw using a pen.
Oh, I use the technique of straight lines on the drawing object to make it look more voluminous, I call this technique "line volume".

Really same scenario with me!
I only made a sketch for approval which I even shared on my page here, then I gave him a payment option of binance pay with my email.
Dude sent an edited pay slip (which was obviously tampered with) and fake email memo which I immediately recognized that it's not authentic because I have my binance anti phishing code turned on, and I also saw the fake email address it was sent from.
Sorry about your incident mate and thanks for sharing.
Next are those fools constantly commenting about wanting to buy artworks as NFT.
I am glad I know basic things about crypto and won't fall for common things.
looks like this guy is from the same group, Lucky we found out that this is a scam
In the future, it means we have to be more careful because there will always be people who seek profit by deceiving others.
cheers mate :)
